Sun all day at the moment, and as I live about 200 meters from the sea, we get a constant cooling breeze (gale).
I`m working nights at the moment - we`re having maybe 5 hours of actual darkness, system wakes up about 4am goes to bed about 9:45.3.975 kWp System, South facing, 21 degree pitch, 15 x Canadian Solar Elps, Samil Inverter, location NE Scotland (Fraserburgh) Bring on the Sun :beer:0 -

Now you`ve heard of someone getting 0.6 O`s above 7 O`s :A
Cool, the 'Holy Grail' on here is 7.5 O's, or 30kWh's from a 4kWp system. :dance:Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.
For general PV advice please see the PV FAQ thread on the Green & Ethical Board.0 -

Did you get a free water?;)
I would give up a day of sun for a day of rain.
Still as a consolation it was your best day of July!:D:rotfl:3.795 kWp Solar PV System. Capital of the Wolds0 -

Just a few drops in the late afternoon; not enough to make any difference. Our 1,700 litres of water butt storage are all empty waiting for a big down pour.
However, it was our best & worst day of the month so far.0 -
Actually managed 5.19 Os yesterday, which was a bit of a surprise due to the lack of much direct sunlight.2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.0

My "Holy Grail" is 7 Os, still haven't quite made it but I know it is possible, just not on a hot day with continuous sunshine!
Same here, I think it would be possible but need perfect curve and cool. 23 June we were only 250w short and there was a blip down at midday.
However we are 74 w of s and 35 degrees, I suspect it was the 21 pitch plus cooling breeze that really helped with the 7.6 is. How high does the sun get at the meridian in scotland this time of year?I think....0
