I have noticed that my generation seems pretty poor recently and I have checked this quarter's actual figures against the same time last year and in 2015 and this year seems to be 10-12% down. Is anyone else experiencing that sort of drop or is it something failing on my system?Solar Suntellite 250 x16 4kW Afore 3600TL dual 2KW E 2KW W no shade, DN15 March 14

What you really need to do is to check the PVGIS site (see FAQs if unfamiliar) and see what they forecast for your system. If last year was a bit above average and this year no more than (say) 10% below average you've not a lot to worry about. OTOH if last year was below average and this year even lower then you need to start investigating.
Thanks Eric, you are dead right and the first two years were above average and this year almost dead on average. I have an east/west alignment so my total figures are a lot less than most of yours. I can hear they are getting a right good clean now!Solar Suntellite 250 x16 4kW Afore 3600TL dual 2KW E 2KW W no shade, DN15 March 14

Maybe have a look on pvoutput.org for systems near you?
Not many people bother with updating it now but it's fairly simple to automate the process.4kWp, SSE, SolarEdge P300 optimisers & SE3500 Inverter, in occasionally sunny Corby, Northants.
Now with added Sunsynk 5kw hybrid ecco inverter & 15kWh Fogstar batteries. Oh Octopus Energy too.0
