Never mind - we need the rain. The BBC issued us with a weather warning over the last two days, with the possibility of flash flooding. No such luck! Exactly eleven drops of rain fell in this area.
Back from a week of festivalling, I can report that the sun continued to excite the electrons on the roof without my supervision. A variable week ranging from 2.5 Os to 6.45 Os, but averaging 4.9 Os. Two Hawaiis and two Maidens - oh, and the sun's now generating the hot water, so I've turned the fossil fuel systems off completely for the summer. Goodish!O G  Somewhere on the South Downs
