5.1 Os today, and the wind was extremely cold at ground level. I take the point about the panels being cooler in the first half of the year! But is it the whole story?

Hiya, it's probably the largest part of the story as temps here have been very low the last few days. The other boosts are that April can have very clear skies, and depending on your roof pitch might be about the best angle as winter sun is too low, and summer sun too high, but April (and October) ... Goldilocks!

Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax: B)

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).
