    Slightly surprised!

Met anomaly maps now updated for October. Whilst my generation was spot on average, I'm surprised to see S.Wales getting average scores for sun and rain. I thought October seemed pretty miserable this year, with lots and lots of showers.

Oh well, average is, as average does I suppose.

    Mart.

Almost a 2 figure day here today: 9.5 kWh

Would have been even higher except that I spotted a shadow on the roof at 3pm from a nearby tree - wouldn't have been a problem a couple of weeks ago when sun was higher and won't be in a couple of weeks when leaves have fallen off.

Two reasonable days to start the month, 3.48 and 4.31kWh, both well above PVGIS average per day for November - but it is the start of the month so they should be really.
2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.
  • 5.6 ror me, not to bad for a naff day. Two days into Nov and almost 11% of this months target met which is 112.

Looks like another cloudy one today and Inverter showing 49watts! Still early though...

    Cheers
