4.73 O's
Heat and cloud kept production down from around 4pm.

Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax:
Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).0 -

I've finally received the first FIT payment for my solar panels from SSE, after sending them the first set of paperwork in April. Over £620 for the three months from early April to early July, and I'm expecting another £600 from the next payment in October. Very pleased with that, as the previous owner of the house told me to expect an income of £1,000 per year from the solar panels.0

How do you monitor the output from your solar panels? My panels were installed in 2011, and at the time there were no monitoring systems available. I take daily readings from the generation meter, and that's all the information I have except for the red/green light on the Immersun that shows whether there is enough surplus solar energy to run the immersion heater.
I'd like to be able to monitor power generation and know when the house is importing power, preferably from my iPad or a web browser on my PC. Should I ask the electricity company to install a smart meter, or should I install my own monitoring system inside the house? I've been considering the Open Energy Monitor system, which has very customisable reports and can have extra sensors connected to monitor specific appliances, but at £200 for the basic system that might be overkill.0 -

I also have an Immersun which is fitted with the MyImmersun bridge. There are however two snags to that : 1. That wouldn't be compatible with an Immersun fitted in 2011 & of course 2. the company that makes Immersun recently failed and although they've been taken over I'm not sure what the new owners are doing.NE Derbyshire.4kWp S Facing 17.5deg slope (dormer roof).24kWh of Pylontech batteries with Lux controller BEV : Hyundai Ioniq50
