What's the highest wattage you have seen your system produce?.
I have had my 4kw system since last November and it briefly hit 3.3kWs today.
I had my 4kw system installed in October but I haven't seen instantaneous readings to go above 2.5kw. Is there a way of interegating the panels from the invertor to see if they are working properly0 -
What's the highest wattage you have seen your system produce?.
It was today - finally got over 1kW and .75 O's.
Having read these boards extensively (many thanks for all the posts which have been considerably useful in getting my system designed and installed especially to Martyn1981 who over time seems to have done considerable research and given great advice) I have finally had the courage to post.
I was quite worried about my system underperforming but I think I am now reasonably satisfied that things will improve because:
1. The terrible December weather
2. Five of my panels are south facing and 6 face west. So I should expect a flatter output curve but at this time of year the west panels never get chance to really get going. Hopefully in summer I will benefit from the longer evenings?
3. Three of my panels are now overshadowed by my neighbour. The problem was not apparent when installers came to assess the site back in Oct so it appears to only really be a December/January issue. Presumably as the sun gets higher they will improve considerably - recent figures suggest this is now the case.
4. Two of my W panels are only at 17degrees so with the low sun they too are performing poorly (currently at 50% of my best south panels) so too I can expect these to improve as the sun gets higher?
Am I being overly optimistic or do my assumptions seem reasonable.
Also one my west panels in a bank of four is performing considerably better than the other three (by about 20%) have they inadvertently sent me a better rated panel or should I be worried about the others?
Thanks (in anticipation) for any opinions.Install 28th Nov 15, 3.3kW, (11x300LG), SolarEdge, SW. W Yorks.

Not as good as yesterday for me, but @ 1.88 O's that'll do nicely....2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.

Hi Exiled Tyke and welcome. Glad you plucked up courage to contribute.
My system is south and west facing as noted in my signature. If this link works you can browse my combined system data to your heart's content and see how things vary with the months. Bear in mind that my smaller system went live in March 2014, so no point looking back before then...
Note today's near perfect curve and generation of 10.78 kWh or 2.05 Os and the impact of the south-facing array falling into shadow at about 13:30. Yesterday it looked like a cat leaning against a rock:rotfl:

Thanks Oscargrouch and thanks too pinnks. Your figures make interesting reading. In particular your overall January curve shows the same trends as mine. I'm hoping that your generally more southerly aspect, location, better pitch and lack of my shading problems will account for your much better performance.
My individual panel performance suggests that If my South panels had all performed as well as the unshaded and my West had done as well as the better pitched ones I would have got close to 1 O today. Given legoman62's figures perhaps I shouldn't be too pessimistic.Install 28th Nov 15, 3.3kW, (11x300LG), SolarEdge, SW. W Yorks.

If you have a sunny portal login in and you are logged in then looking at pinnks data is ok for page 1 but then if you scroll back through the days it replaces the data with you own. Well it did with mine, just so you don't think pinnks curve is same as yours0
