Messy gen, nothing great, but 10 days in, only slightly behind target, nothing to write home about.

But so, so much rain ...... leccy import must be up just from washing/drying muddy towels after puppy walks. I think we are all developing footrot!

Best bet; speak with your installer, if your panels are doing 0.4 kWh and your inverter is still asleep, then I would guess it's an inverter problem. My inverter is awake once it gets even 0.001 kWh...:D

Just incase this helps anyone, apparently this has happened before and it was due to water being in connection(s) between panels. Installers are sending an engineer out this week.
For future reference, is it safe enough to disconnect and reconnect the panels myself as long as iv turned both the isolator switches to off? Cheers.

Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax: B)

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).

I've just tried this and have reset mine from "forum default" (which I assume must have been 20 ppp) to 40ppp.

    Many thanks !

One slight snag is of course that if Martyn does the same he'll have to abstain for twice as long in a few years time :D
