Just noticed a new toy (for me anyway) on my SolarEdge screen:
    New_Solar_Edge_comparison_thingy.jpg

Not strictly accurate, as a didn't have the SE installed until nearly the end of Jan 2015, so any comparison between this year and last will be better from Feb onwards.

Yesterday's gen of 1.63 ho's, almost doubled what had been generated the fisrt seven days of the new month/year! Back to normal now though... 0.18 ho's today.
4kWp, SSE, SolarEdge P300 optimisers & SE3500 Inverter, in occasionally sunny Corby, Northants.
Now with added Sunsynk 5kw hybrid ecco inverter & 15kWh Fogstar batteries. Oh Octopus Energy too.

  • Could Solaredge produce a dashboard like Wattson energyhive? Im using both but the energyhive is much more informative.

Right, I have more info. Sorry for clogging up the board!
My system is working but it just seems to take more daylight than usual to wake it up (roundabout 0.5 kWh) where as before it would wake with very little daylight. My dad has an identical system and he has the same issue, he claims it's only on damp mornings. Anyone encountered anything similar? Cheers.

Best bet; speak with your installer, if your panels are doing 0.4 kWh and your inverter is still asleep, then I would guess it's an inverter problem. My inverter is awake once it gets even 0.001 kWh...:D
