Did Power One then make 49,067 more inverters between November & February?;)

    John.

BTW - My inverter is on its own "Garage" Consumer unit consisting of a blanked position (intended for lighting the garage) a 16A Miniature Circuit Breaker and 80A 30mA Residual Current Device (both of "dinkie" dimensions). The name of the manufacturer may be lost under the multiple stick on warning labels but the trade mark of the manufacturer of the consumer unit, from left to right, is a black oval giving birth to a red arrowhead, itself pointing into a thick horizontal red line.

    Anyone recognise this manufacturer?

SMA Solar Technology retained its number one position in 2011 despite losing further market share, followed by Power-One, Kaco, Fronius and RefuSOL. IMS Research found however that the biggest market share gainers in 2011 were in fact those outside of the top 10, showing that the industry may not be consolidating just yet.
“Start-ups Enphase Energy and SolarEdge were two of the biggest market share gainers in 2011, whilst we also saw considerable gains from Advanced Energy and Emerson,”

Sadly Europe is losing its dominance in the inverter business as sales on it home turf decline.
