I can't really see why people are getting upset. True, August hasn't been spectacularly sunny - but that's pretty well true of most years.

Today has been rainy (all tanks now full :T ) then dull but we've still generated 3.5kWh so far (and still doing 500W so might get nearer 4 kWh by dusk - yes ! had a sunny evening so crept just over 4kWh on the day) which is worth something in excess of twice the cost of any interest lost on installation cash.

For the month, we've generated 436kWh compared to the PVGIS Climate-SAF forecast of 403 (so we're up 8%) :)

What a *rap day 00.52 O's = 38.56 O's less than last August. (today, last year I had a/an Hawaii (thought I would just mention). Last Aug '14; I was +43% up on PVGIS; this August only 5% up. This year, UK is getting less sunshine, hence colder, and were paying to try and make it continue........coffee.gif

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).

The day clocked out at 0.76 O's, too small to close the PVGIS target gap. 358 kWh / 362 kWh = 98.90% of target PVGIS.
