Oh well 4.27kwh yesterday0

9.44kWh clocked up yesterday. Immersun and replacement inverter being installed today. By the end of the day I'll be able to remotely monitor generation again and know that any excess generation is being directed to our immersion.... exciting times for a SPV'er.4kW PV System installed 21/2/12: Aurora Power One 3.6 Inverter
11x 250w panels West; 5x 250 panels East.
On course for 19.8% ROI in Year 1.
Immersun installed 13/9/120 -
now generating 3.1-3.2 kW
time to get the immersion on
sorry team GC
thanks for supporting my FiT payments0 -
The great start to September continues. Already notched up 15kWh today and still kicking out 3kW. Currently ahead of PVGIS monthly estimate pro-rata by 37% (and that's ignoring the generation time remaining today).
Immersion is getting replaced next Thursday so will then be able to turn the Immersun on.Cider Country Solar PV generator: 3.7kWp Enfinity system on unshaded SE (-36deg azimuth) & 45deg roof0 -

I'm sunbathing in the garden, beautiful blue skies
2 days from my optimum roof pitch angle
hope the weather continues
got my 3 kW immersion on
I'm interested in the Immersun, hoping the price might come down over the winter, then get one ready for next year
Will be interested to see how you get on0 -
snap!

To be honest I'm more interested in the winter performance of the Immersun, because I know in the summertime it's going to be a belter (based on the less efficient other devices that other's have reported results from this summer). Our export will be less this winter due to Mrs SDJ being on maternity leave but hopefully the Immersun will still deliver some benefit on most days.
Rest assured I will be posting plenty of stats from my experience with it :beer:Cider Country Solar PV generator: 3.7kWp Enfinity system on unshaded SE (-36deg azimuth) & 45deg roof0 -

yeah, agree with you. with my steep roof i would get more benefit hopefully in winter months, but at the price and my water consumption, not sure for me it's worth it yet
with more interest and more items like this coming to market, hopefully prices will drop
then I'll have something to spend some of my FiT money on, savings on top of savings
look forward to your results, good luck :beer:0 -
Sunny day and a very respectable 10.93kWh generated, almost double PVGIS estimate for September day.2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.0

22.4 kWh today
*shakes fist at God for the periods of high altitude clouds*
forecast tomorrow cloudy, but sat sunny, my best roof angle day
still wondering why my autumn 'peaks' are below spring ones, maybe i should clean the panels?
can't grumble too much0 -
Notched a 20.7kWh today, over double September PVGIS of 9.81kWh  The cool breeze certainly helped, and the late cloud to help with a bit of bonus diffusion.
Don0301, is the air temperature higher at this time of year than the equivalent March optimum day? That may account for the lower generation.
Only need another 34kWh to hit our (revised) PVGIS target for the year and there's still 5 and a half weeks until our anniversary of the installation.
Forecast doesn't look bad for tomorrow either, which is a rarity for SDJ's birthdayCider Country Solar PV generator: 3.7kWp Enfinity system on unshaded SE (-36deg azimuth) & 45deg roof0
