Just scraped a brew with 12.13 kWh!

Grey morning but sun came out between thick clouds, busted month target as well by close of play yesterday so everything including today's is a bonus :)
4kWp, SSE, SolarEdge P300 optimisers & SE3500 Inverter, in occasionally sunny Corby, Northants.
Now with added Sunsynk 5kw hybrid ecco inverter & 15kWh Fogstar batteries. Oh Octopus Energy too.

Can't believe these numbers being posted, no sun to speak of in the south east and a pathetic 0.97 Os today.

Well, today, "blew the bloody doors orff".... A/an Hawaii + 0.6 O's.....Tough Kev, really tuff......coffee.gif
2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.
Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax: B)

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).

What a difference a day makes. Beautiful here this morning - but frosty! Low of -1C a short while ago, now warming up (+1c!)

Yep. Just chilling and thinking of salads.

Got 2.85 Os Sat, and 3.03 Os Sun, only a fraction under target, so not as bad as predicted.

Weather for the rest of April seems OK to good, so again much better than the long term forecast a week ago. Will hit April target in an hour or so. Hopefully we'll close the month at 110% or more.

Wow! No best days here! Pretty miserable until late this afternoon, even had the heating back on this morning!

Phew! Glad you posted that. Heating was switched off in first week of April, but yesterday we weakened and popped it back on for 20mins. Temp today a little low, and 5C in the garden, but the solar gain coming from the ESE windows is mighty, and we're generating 1.25kW already.

    Mart.
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

For general PV advice please see the PV FAQ thread on the Green & Ethical Board.

    Mart.

My poorly designed bungalow has no windows on the Sun side, so when it's cold out for more than a couple of days it creeps in to the fabric of the house. Heat pump was on again this morning, but then it was sub zero first thing! I have Westerly facing bedroom windows, which are a nuisance in the Summer - precisely why I had air conditioning fitted as in the height of the Summer the bedrooms would easily reach 30C or more with no way of shifting the heat - if there is no breeze then you can't move the air, unlike a 2 storey house where a window open upstairs and down causes a through draft.

Off to the docs today. A back injury I did 3 weeks ago is flaring up and I've been awake since 4am again such is the level of pain :(

I've done painkillers until my stomach is in knots, so time to ask for something else!

A pretty good weekend, considering what they claimed the weather was going to like during the week, 4.84 and 3.55 O's. Heavy rain on Saturday night even filled all our water butts to the top so that's great as I have a new lawn I've been wasting money on trying to get established...

Am currently running at 111.91% of PVGIS for the month and if today stays as beautiful as it started I should pass the 500kWh mark for the month... Good Times! :)

Beautiful morning here, a ho in the bag already!
Not sure about weather for the rest of the week, but today is gonna be a fantastic day!

Good luck at the quacks Andy, backs are funny things so for once, do as the good doctor says! Believe it or not, but exercise will help.

    And tunnel, pm inbound...

I'm not shying away from exercise. Been to Spain for a week since I did the injury. Managed to get the grass cut at the back end of last week too. I just need the pain to ease a bit so I can sleep at night :(
