Weatherman said "periods of sunshine + clouds"......he was half right:(

Yesterday I had a snooze with 40 winks and today we've got a book 'em Danno scenario!

After the cooler start to the month where I lost against the month's target, now we're nearly 3 days ahead, currently at 59.13% of target.
A cooler day forecast for Thursday and then picking up for the weekend - we'll see...!!!
4kWp, SSE, SolarEdge P300 optimisers & SE3500 Inverter, in occasionally sunny Corby, Northants.
Now with added Sunsynk 5kw hybrid ecco inverter & 15kWh Fogstar batteries. Oh Octopus Energy too.

A mere 5.97 Os yesterday - just as sunny as the 6+ days but clobbered by the temperature. At 52.5% of SAF PVGIS half way through the month, so not spectacular but good enough.
2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.

Ended yesterday just less than 2.5kWh behind my month's halfway mark. Hopefully a few sunny days towards the end of the month can rectify that!
    3.924kWp (12X327Wp SunPower). SolarEdge SE3500 inverter.
Surrey/SE. 30 degree roof pitch, chimney shading from mid afternoon.

.... Hopefully a few sunny days towards the end of the month can rectify that!
... that & the fact that the average for daylight hours in the second half of April is ~7.5% higher than the first half ..... ;)

  • 6.41 O's yesterday....

Best day since install last September... Was hoping for more but it looks like the temperature seriously affected generation 'only' peaking at 3.4kW whereas the last few days have seen spikes of 3.7kW...

    Still... Can't complain! :)
