4.27 O's or 17.1 kWh here today:j
Best day since late August 2014:T16 Sanyo Hit 250s.4kWp SMA 3.8kWp inverter. SW roof. 28° pitch. Minimal shade. Nov 2011 install. Hybrid car. Ripple Kirk Hill. N.E Lincs Coast.0 -
12,700 / 3,780 >>> 3.36 Os. Very little sun really sighted.I have osteoarthritis in my hands so I speak my messages into a microphone using Dragon. Some people make "typos" but I often make "speakos".0

Decent (but still breezy) day yesterday pulled in 19.3 kWh.
Today was even better. The wind had dropped, the sun was out, and overall quite warm. 20 kWh, exactly an Hawaii :j4kw (16X250w Sharp). Samil Solar River 3680 TL inverter.
E.mids/SSE. 35 degree roof pitch, no shading.0 -
15.31kWh or a Typhooo + .83 ho's
That'll do me nicely!4kWp, SSE, SolarEdge P300 optimisers & SE3500 Inverter, in occasionally sunny Corby, Northants.
Now with added Sunsynk 5kw hybrid ecco inverter & 15kWh Fogstar batteries. Oh Octopus Energy too.0 -
Only 3.8 O's for me today....:eek:2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.
Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax:
Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).0 -
Probably an April record here, but 9:30am, still too dark to activate the inverter!
Banging out around 2 kWh!
Lots of high thin cloud which effected production. Only ended with a Hawaii +.58 O's (22.19 kWh) today. Was looking for a Sixer!3.795 kWp Solar PV System. Capital of the Wolds0 -
I have the Immersun and am pleased with it. I don't know anything about the others but in essence they are just a clever switch which is interposed into the circuit between consumer unit and immersion. They then measure what is being generated and used and put the rest into to immersion. Not quite that simple in electronics terms but that is the principle.
One thing the immersun can do which I don't think all, if any, of the others can is to feed up to 3 outputs. One for the immersion (usually) and the others for, say, a radiator. They just have to be resistive loads, so not a TV or whatever.
I have a couple of oil-filled rads attached. Once the immersion is hot the first rad turns on; when that reaches full temp the other rad turns on. The immersion checks in every 15 mins to say whether it is "hungry" again, and so on. You can also set the division between outputs to "equal" and they then get a set time each. Max load at any time is 3kW but you can plug several devices into one output as long as total load is not exceeded.
The sensor can be wired or wireless and you can cascade up to 4 more immersuns as slaves if your system can deliver up to 15kW. they can each have 3 devices of course.
They are soon to bring out a web-based monitoring system which will record import, export, use and diverted which sounds a bit like other systems doing that but might make the maths look better. It will cost about £100. Also, looking on the immersun site thet have just reduced the price - go take a look.
hope this helps...0 -
