Expecting a poor wet day, but got 14 + 9 (targets 10 + 5). The next few days look poor, but were looking awful so some improvement.

Total for 9 months 2925.
£623 not bad for 3 of the sunniest months.
£1354 for 9 months also passable.

Over voltage is deliberate?
I got another short period of time drop out in my inverter again today (?);
There was a 15 minute of "darkness" at about 15:00 according to my daily graph. Could not have been anything to do with the temperature of a cool windy Wednesday.
I am just wondering if it is anything to do with a situation, similar to falsifying the LIBOR rate, that was revealed on Wednesdays BBC Radio 4 "You and Yours" (near start of programme):
It seems that the electricity companies have been deliberately trying to exploit the deficiencies in the grid, rather than trying to minimise them to produce the lowest over all cost to the consumer.
If a local electricity company can unbalance the grid it gets paid compensation or extra for being "forced" to turn off an agreed supply or by being "forced" to turn on an expensive (gas fired?) generator.
The net effect is a surcharge of £4 a year on all our electricity bills to pay compensate the inefficiency supply companies, a revenue stream they are trying to maximise rather than minimise. (Capitalism - surprise surprise!).
Can anyone explain the method better than my efforts?
Could my mains voltage continually trying to get above 250V be anything to do with this parasitic activity?0 -
