Renewables: "talking 'bout my generation"

0.42 O's for me today. Had a leap up of production between 2.15 and 2.45 passing 1.2 Kwh but not enough.
!!!!!, how do you get them panels to work that time of night..:D
That's more feasible.........
2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.
Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax:
Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).0 -

I have a big search light left from the 2nd world war. Plug it into next doors electric and shine it at the panels!....:rotfl:
Amazing spent 25 years using the 24 hour clock and now when I don't someone mentions it.
3.795 kWp Solar PV System. Capital of the Wolds0 -
Guess that idea is out the window then! That would work - but be aware that you'd need planning permission if they're more than 100mms above the roof.
Solved it I will lift the house up 1 metre then the panels will still be the correct height but no more shading!

Have the same problem in reverse; when asked for a postcode, I start with November, November; ( should have said numpty, numpty) and get, 'what is that'?.....few months ago, got asked "how many grams in a Kg".:rotfl: Bless them....and God help us......

December 2010 - 23 kWh
December 2011 - 39 kWh
December 2012 - 40 kWh
December 2013 - 44 kWh
December 2014 - 53 kWh

2014 has also been the best calendar year for generation too with 1366 kWh generated against the PVGIS Climate prediction of 1272 kWh.
2011 - 1349 kWh
2012 - 1299 kWh
2013 - 1284 kWh
2014 - 1366 kWh

Hiya GH. I know I keep boring folk with this, but I still haven't got used to just how boringly normal PV gen seems to be.
That's only a 6% spread across your 4 years, and a very solid 1,000 Os too. The weather seems to vary so much, when comparing months, but the annual results just keep averaging out. Nice.
Mart.Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 28kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.
For general PV advice please see the PV FAQ thread on the Green & Ethical Board.0 -

My system has only just cut in at nearly 10am. Not going to be a good day today.0
