We don't use it for drying. We used a dehumidifier for years to stop condensation.QrizB said:Not quite up to yesterday's standard, but I'll take what I can get at this time of year.3.32kWh, 1.22 O's

We swapped our dehumidifier for one of these several years ago.Spies said:QrizB My washer only uses 0.5kw per load at 30c, then I run a dehumidifier for a few hours at 250w are you running a tumble dryer?
Fraction of the cost to run!@legoman62 I'm pleased it works for you, but I can't imagine that being anything like as good at drying laundry as a dehumidifier in a closed room. I suspect it would also cost more to run, at least under the conditions where I'd be using a dehumidifier to dry laundry.Happy to start a separate thread if you'd like to discuss the pros and cons.
We ran it for 16 hours a day and still had the condensation!
The Drimaster just recycles the air and has a small (300w) Heater if needed although we don't really use it. It runs 24/7.
Several family members also use them. One of them was using 3 dehumidifiers to control the condensation and still had damp problems.. They fitted the Drimaster 5 years ago and have had no problem since.
I fitted mine 4 years ago.....took a couple of hours but was worth it.
Perhaps I should be an agent for them🤔🤣16 Sanyo Hit 250s.4kWp SMA 3.8kWp inverter. SW roof. 28° pitch. Minimal shade. Nov 2011 install. Hybrid car. Ripple Kirk Hill. N.E Lincs Coast.5 -

2.298 O's today which takes Nov's total so far to 109.5% of its normal total. However, for the year as a whole we are down about a MW, or 109 O's, on the previous two, but if Dec and Jan follow Novembers lead then I'll happily settle for that.
