My wife nearly got ripped off this weekend with buying tickets for a concert at the royal albert hall by Bruce Springsteen, it was advertised in the Sunday papers, it appears to be a complete scam, there is no concert at all, so do not give your c/c details thinking your buying tickets cause your not.

his new album is due out on the 26th April and then there is going to be a tour to promote this, although at the moment there are no dates set in stone. There will be concerts going on thats for sure.
The Royal Albert Hall is free on the dates that the tickets are being sold for. I think what you will find is that these websites who are selling these tickets are doing the same as they did with U2 tickets a while back. They sell them before they are announced for sale.0 -
Does that mean there is a concert then

There is going to be a concert. The 27th and 28th have been reserved at the Albert Hall by Bruce Springsteen but not confirmed (there is also a rumour that he may also play on the 26th).
However, the tickets have not yet been released - so any sites selling them before the Albert Hall is likely to be dodgy/overpriced and the box office at the Albert Hall have said not to purchase from anywhere until the tickets are officially onsale. There will be notification sometime this week of the official onsale date/time.
They will be hard to get though!0
