Blockbuster DVD Rental - Faulty discs

Hi,

People who follow DVD rental threads will know that I've championed BB on here time and time again. Quick and good service. Customer services actually read emails and reply with sensible answers.

But at the moment I seem to be getting more than an average amount of snapped discs.

Has anyone else experienced this lately or is it just me?

The service does appear to have slowed down a little as well.

Although I consider Tesco to be an inferior service they do have a feature whereby when you report a disc as faulty they immediately send you another copy out regardless of how many discs you already have. It is a pity BB don't do that.

Doubly annoying is that fact that it is aleays the movies that I'm really keen on seeing that are broken. Today's broken disc came in a packet with 4 others so why weren't they snapped as well if it was supposed to have happened in transit?

Edited to add - apparently they do offer that service now. Just checked on the website and instead of just telling you to write it on the white card that came with the disc you can order another copy of the disc. Will be interesting to see how long it takes to arrive.
