    How to find a dentist.
    1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
    2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
    3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
    4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.

Oh wow, I know I've lived a sheltered life but I've never heard of water flossers OR tepe brushes!

Well i'm glad i'm not the only one. I thought a Oral Irrigater must have been something rude that you bought at Lovehoney.

I have had 2 Waterpiks, both stopped charging, one still in guarantee, the other at at 15 months. I now have a Panasonic and would hate to be without it. I have tried the Teepee and every other thing available on the High Street, but I have two problem areas where food lodges and it is near impossible to brush out and not really accessible with any pick, my Dentist has been unable to offer any solution. Without the irrigator I have very sore gums and not the nicest breath.:(

  • We have the waterpik nano. No charging required, it goes into the shaver socket, DD's braces are kept cleaner with this as an addition to cleaning/interdental brushing, and it's suiting us fine.
