Insurance refused because of no MOT

I sang CNs praises for years until I bought a rare as hell spanish bike and was told ''1983?'' not a classic, so you can't add it on, you can't have agreed value either, you'll need another policy.

Yes, I did need another policy, and !!!!ed off to FJ and stayed there!

That's why Carole Nash wouldn't touch it, because he told them it'd been converted so it failed their "no modifications" rule

Then why does my M.O.T. centre ask to see my insurance cert. when i go?

What? Nobody asks for an insuance certificate (unless bikes are dofferent?)

Some might - they have no legal entitlement to demand to see it but its also their right to refuse a service if they don't see it.
