hi, for severn to eight months ive been complaining regarding the vacum on my fridge and freezeer doors . now the handle has broken and the door seal have split on the fridge. The vaccum on both the fridge and freezer is still evident more so on the freezer which due to trying to open it in the past has lead to it rocking back and forth which cracked a floor tile which has now subsequently broken after months of use. i have called gorenjie first they sent out a engineer, he said he would report the problem, i dont know what happened but they do not call back to advise the customer, the customer has to call. I called again they said they haven't received a report I'll have to wait, i waited they didn't call so i did, they received a report and then they sent a handle which was no good, again an engineer was sent out after i complained again. this back and forth has been going on with no resolve now they just are ignoring me as i have sent email after email i get no response, what can i do ?
I do have a 5 year parts and labour guarantee im still in the first year. i have made a video of the engineer which came to my house as evidence he has advise me put in a protruding piece of plastic between the door seal and the door which would break the vacuum but the down side is it will create frost in both appliances. This is because the door will never be really shut which in turn would turn an A rated appliance into category much lower than its sold at because the appliances will use much more electricity this is because they can not ever reach the set temperature because the door are not fully shut. please view video at You Tube, type in the search 'gorenje r60395de engineer 14 02 2012 getting off'.

We had lots of problems with our gorenje oven, the heating coil would die every 8 months or so. we had four replacements until the warranty ran out, (it went again less than a month after) and then we bought a cheap oven from argos........... never again0
