Its so frustrating isnt it! Even when you put UK in the search field and click on 'pages from the UK' it still brings up these sites, which give the impresion they are in the UK and then when you look a little deeper you can tell the dresses are being made in China (the broken English in the 'about us' section usually gives it away, long with the lack of address at the bottom of the site and the inability to contact them!)

Sooooooo annoying!

I know!!!!! I enjoy reading customer reviews of dresses that make no sense at all! ha ha

im trying to find a dress for my engagement party I would LOVE the one you put a link up for!!!! and then my wedding dress and four adult bridesmaid dresses and two flower girls for a minuscule amount fingers crossed we can find some where

You could try the small independent prom shops? Especially when they have a sale on.

I usually buy from the one in my area and I get them for less than £100. I have a dress very similar to the one in the picture, white, halter neck with gold banding round the midriff and got it for £75 in a prom shop. It's what I'm wearing for the evening reception. HTH

We found a good website online called ''everypretty'' (.com), not too sure where they are but they delievered fast and what arrived was really good for the price we paid. Also went on ebay and got it slightly cheaper off an auction.

Thanks guys, just looked at the ever pretty website and its another one from China can tell from the 'about us' section.

She is umming and aaahing over some that the lovely ladies on fb found for her bout she is one of those who cant make her mind up, if it doesnt make her go wow right away I suspect its not the dress for her.

Will suggest she goes looking around some of the bridal/evening gown shops to see if she see anything she likes.

Have a look at a shop called weddingbelles of otley. They do an online shop too, with a huge choice of dresses. I have actually been to shop and all of the bridesmaid dresses are really good quality. They aren't cheap though.
