hi had the same experience with this company i'm now in the process of taking leagle action againts them plus you need to report them to trading standards the more people that report them to sooner trading standards will investigate themElla_Belakovska wrote: »I don't know how many of you fell for this one but my partner and I are sorry we did. We had loads and loads of CDs gathering dust, saw the ads for TIC and spent hours logging them into their system, packing them up and arranging pick up from THEIR couriers, then waited for our cheque. And waited. And we are still waiting.
They have ignored my emails and the only phone number I had for them has a full inbox for voicemail. No other way to contact these clowns as the contact phone numbers have conveniently been taken off their site.
Today I found a review on a website called Phones Review which had an article about TIC on 24/11/11. All the comments at the bottom mirror my experiences (I would post the link but as a newbie, am not allowed!)
Am really p**d off as we needed that cash - I wish I'd done it the long slog way and gone through eBay, at least I wouldn't feel so ripped off
Anyone had any good experiences with these guys????0 -

I've have used music magpie a few times never had any trouble with them but as zenseeker stated they don't pay out the best prices, but at lest you do get your money and they email you to let you know that your cheque has been sentSealed Pot Number 018 🎄2009..£950.50 🎄2010..£256 🎄 2011..£526 🎄2012..£548.80 🎄2013...£758.88🎄2014...£510 🎄2015...£604.78 🎄2016...£704.50 🎄2017...£475 🎄2018...£1979.12 🎄2019...£408.88🎄2020...£1200.63...🎄2021…£588 🎄2022 £672… 🎄2023 £3,783.90 🎄2024…£3,882.57🎄2025…£4083.🎄20260

hi all
if you have traded with this company then please try to log into there web site as i have been trying for the past 2 days and even had family members try as well it looks like the site may have been closed and if this is the case then i would advise you first get in touch with trading standards and even think about contacting the police and taking leagle action against the company directors as this is the route that im going down at the moment please let me know of your experiences with them0 -
Hi everyone, well what a total rip off. I sent my CD's off to them in Jan 2012 to clear space and get some money for them, yet to date I have no cheque for nearly £100 worth of items. I have e-mailed them on several occasions and admittedly received a reply but only saying that there is a back log and that they could not give me a time as to when I would receive my cheque, that they could not put my order ahead of any one else and would have to wait. Well what a load of rubbish that was. I then e-mailed them again this week to ask for my items back or the money by return, which I haven't received a reply to, so then checked on the phone app only to see all my data has been deleted, so then checked the website page and that has also disappeared. So like the rest of you that have been obviously scammed by them, I'm now going to contact Trading Standards, the Police and also Watch Dog, so I would advise others to do so if you haven't already. Also going to see about a small claims as well. Will keep you post and good look everyone0

Hi all
I too have had the same experience with TIC! Ive contacted trading standards and have even contacted REDEEM their holding company in Scotland but they were very simular to TIC they seemed more interested in fobbing me off than actually helping!!!:mad:0 -
hi did everyone get the email today from the liquidators i spoke to them and all they can do at this time is take our details and someone will come back to us as soon as they have got all the information can't belive a company can be like this0

If liquidators have been in touch then TurnInToCash has gone bankrupt.
Which means sadly all the people owed money will have to join what is I imagine a large queue.0 -
at least they will not be able to scam anyone else, ................................. until they start up again as TurnItToCash or some such.If liquidators have been in touch then TurnInToCash has gone bankrupt"A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi
