Asda and Walls Ice Cream

Last Thursday my local Asda were selling 1.8lt tubs of Walls Ice Cream but still ticketed as 2lt and still at the 2lt price (I buy it most weeks, yum yum). When I got home I checked on their website and the same was on there.
I emailed them about the mistake, no reply obviously but checking the website today they now show it as 1.8lt with a massive price reduction of 3p. However in the shop today it's still being wrongly ticketed. I appreciate mistakes happen but when a customer informs them then there are no further excuses.
In the grand scheme of things it's nothing much but it does make me wonder how many other items aren't correctly sold. I only realised this mistake due to the obvious smaller size of the tub.

It's someone else's fault.

Buyer beware innit. Unless they're deliberately trying to mislead it's up to the customer to be vigilant."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0

I don't believe they deliberately mislead but they should correct mistakes when told about them. On a brighter note they are ticketing Walkers Crinkles at £1.87 or two for £2.50 but they go through the till at £1 each, two weeks now. No I didn't tell them and yes I'm a hypocrite but hopefully it all evens out. It's someone else's fault.0
