Hi all,
I am on my second battery now for the laptop that I have had for 2 years and I want this one to last as long as possible.
What is best for prolonging the life of the battery as I have read conflicting information.
Do you charge it up to 100% capacity and then remove the charge and let it drain to the point the laptop tells you to recharge OR should you keep it constantly plugged in OR should you keep it plugged in and remove the battery until you need the laptop to be mobile?
Thanks in advance.

Fully charge it and remove the battery from the laptop and run on mains only, if you can.
If you need to be mobile, try to fully charge, then fully discharge, then fully charge....0 -
Cheers.
I use it at work all day on the desk but then at home in the evenings.
Its so difficult to remember to take the battery out or unplug it.0 -
