strange letter from halifax

just recieved a letter from the halifax thanking me for my query regarding mis sold ppi on my credit card, and they are looking into it for me. thing is ive never had anything but a bank account with them. very strange. has anyone else had a letter like this?:)

Ring the Halifax and find out, they could be looking to credit agreements that people have taken out in the past, they usually send a letter telling you you had ppi and if you would like to make a claim and not that they are looking into it for you, use the number on the link, do not ring the number on the letter in case it is fraudulent, it could be genuine and if it is that is great but i would check first.
