hi just thought i would share with you a lovely caravan park i have visited for the past couple of years, its a bunn leisure site at selsey bill which is in chichester, west sussex.
because we have been there before if we book and pay a £10 deposit before we leave for the following year we get it half price so this year we paid £271 for a week and that includes our passes for swimming and kids club/entertainment etc (although it is only certain months and stops the week before summer holidays) well my brother and family wanted to come so i phoned them last week and they said as long as he pays in full when he books they will still give him the half price offer for this july, what a result,
its a lovely caravan site, there is actualy three of them all together we stay at the white horse site which is more for kids, it has a tiny funfair, crazy golf, bike hire, lovely swimming pool, arcades, teenagers hang out zone, you are also on the beach but its just pebbles, kids clubs are great and several different bars with different entertainment and two shops on site but town centre is a five min drive or a 20/30 min walk away.
anyway hope this can be of use to some one, sorry its so long...#

i think the caravans hold 4/6/or 8 people you choose what you want

Thanks for this - we're looking for a cheapie caravan holiday this year.
We went to Devon Cliffs last year and had a horrendous time and left after one night.
What are the caravans like? Are they clean and well equipped. We found haven's rubbish - nothing to cook with and we had no budget for eating out much.
Also what sort of feel do the sites have? Is it friendly? And non-chav??
It's looks v nice, but it's nice to have first hand comments.
Thanks,

oh yeah forgot they had the tent site too,
my kids absolutley luv this caravan site, especially bella and buster bunny.
they have two kids entertainment in the day, evening entertainment is from about 7 till 10.30/11.every night for the kids, adults entertainment goes on longer, some really good shows and some ok, also adults only venue as well, a really really nice restaurant at the top although on a budget we only treat ourselves to this once during the week.
we have stayed in 3 different caravans and they have all been very clean, have cooker, microwave, plates , utensils pots and pans and bottle opener which is a must, telly and heating too, sometimes you canask for the larger size van though at no extra cost so its worth an ask. you can also take pets at £40 extra for the week. i havent had any problems at all. there are two shops on site but if you drive its literally a few mins to supermarket, and the doctors is right next to it. so far have had two visits to doctors and one to hospital as my youngest son is very accident prone, last year he got a toy stuck on his tongue. it could only happen to me.......... every one i sreally friendly there, oh and i think there are two parks as well on site.now proud mum to 3 handsome boys :j latest one born 10/10/11:j0 -

I have just back from there. Agree the caravans are faultless absolutely lovely and clean. We stayed at White horse but everything seemed to be happening up at the main site and because so early in the season we had a half hour walk or a drive up there. Bus doesn't run until after the kids club had started.
The evening entertainment for the children was out of this world Charlie the Magician was fantastic. The day entertainment was so unorganised that it grated on me a bit. The 2 hour show they put on only lasted about 45mins and they were 15mins late opening the doors.
This is probably because it is so early in the season we were there on the 12th March. Maybe in a couple of years time when I can only holiday with lo in the school holidays we'll try it again but I certainly wouldn't do out of season again.
Edit: The crazy golf course is full of rabbit holes so do beware with your footing and the funfair is not worth it, 2 young children's rides. The dodgems and a twister and a roller coaster and that's it.0 -
We are staying at Selsey over the August Bank Holiday weekend. I got a fantastic deal via hoseasons rather than bunn direct. Has anyone stayed in one of their Amber caravans who can tell me what they are like please?0
