What does PPI show up as on your statement?

I rung Natwest telephone banking and they don't know.
I rung the PPI people through Natwest, they don't know. According to them my claim is unresolved.
Today i received and amount by BACS payment, with description of "my name loan".
I've never had any other loan so this makes sense however the PPI guys said they would name it "PPI" or "interest".
Confused!!

What items apart from "interest" (which is not PPI but the "rent" on the money you are borrowing from the) appears on every statement?0

Sorry I should have been clearer.
I have received this payment into my account by BACS called "My Name Loan".
The PPI company said if it was them refunding me a PPI claim, it would have something related to PPI in the narrative. This doesn't.0 -
You must first have a letter detailing the PPI redress amount they are offering to pay you. Then you have to sign that you accept this offer. If the current status of your complaint is "unresolved", then this payment won't be PPI related.MARKMAKAVELI wrote: »Sorry I should have been clearer.

Are you expecting other loan related payments?0 -
No, thats just it, I've never had any other loans or anything. So confused?!0

Could be an error by the bank or lender. Give it a couple of days to see if anyone contacts you. If not, contact your bank and ask them for full details of who sent the money*
*Sometimes banks only have limited information on the day a payment is received, but after a couple of days have further details.0 -
Resolved, thanks for your replies.
I'm afraid I've been an idiot and forgot I lent my sister £500.
I've got spreadsheets coming out of my a** so this is pretty embarrassing for me.0 -
