How can I demand my P45 from agency?

Well I got a reply saying "nice attitude!!" now, what exacty have I done wrong? They are the ones who are not doing as they should of done 3 weeks ago and now I have an attitude because I ask if there is a reason why it hasn't.
I have got a mind to ring HMRC today and see what they say rather then waiting but they do payroll tuesday so it will be interesting to see if or what they do now.

Yes, I suspect I have overpaid tax and need the P45 for the HMRC so I can find out if anything is owed. I suspect it is but without it I can't really do much.

And they will next tell you that it has been sent and must have been lost in the post and they cannot reissue it. The latter of which would be true. HMRC aren't going to do anything about one "lost" P45 that went straight into the shredder.

So what exactly do I do? If I have to go and see them in person I am seriously liable to get physical with the smarmy arrogant pieces of !!!!! I despised of them before during and after working for them and although I am not normally aggressive I am fed up with being treated like crap and these people really think they can walk over me. AAhhhh.

Part 1 of the P45 is supposed to be sent to HMRC. So it would require both envelopes to have been lost.

OP - Do you have your last payslip? That should include the details which would be on your P45 (other than separating out any income paid in a previous employment which provided a P45 which you passed to the agency in the current tax year). That should allow you to check whether you have paid the correct amount of tax, shouldn't it? If you have over-paid, then you can take up the matter with HMRC.

The last time I posted something to HMRC by recorded delivery it was delivered the next day and found seven months later! So I wouldn't put too much stock in them doing anything about one missing P45.

No, I can't find it. I will give it until Tues when they run payroll and if it isn't sorted I will surprise them in their office. Hopefully there will be new drivers signing up with the hope of working for good people earning good money and I will make a show of them.

Be careful or you are going to end up being escorted off the premises or arrested by the police. You are not helping your situation if you act like this.
