Capital one world mastercard application

Hi, few days ago I made an application for their world mastercard that offers cashback. I got 3 green ticks and signed the agreement online and was given reference number advising that will be in touch within 5-7 days.

I rang them today quoting reference number and they said my application was with their fraud? team in final stage where they are conducting final checks.

By looking at experian, I can see they conducted a full search and then followed it with unrecorded search today.

Bear in mind, I kept cap1 progress for 18 months and closed it in January.

Does anybody know from experience if my application is likely to be accepted at this stage? The only reason I have applied for is cashback as I am planning to spend close to 5k buying the furniture for my house.

Thanks

Update: Received emails from capital one today containing username and password to access world mastercard online.

Logged in and noticed they have again given me lowest starting limit just as they did when I was accepted for their progress card with a starting limit of £200. However that being said, starting limit of world mastercard is £3,000 so not as bad I suppose.

    Hi,

How long did it take between you applying and receiving an email? I applied for the same card a few days ago and same as you got three ticks etc but am yet to here anything from them.

    Thanks

I applied on 11th March which was Sunday and received emails today so roughly 10 days. Haven't received card or pin yet.
