Directed OH towards these and two huge bunches arrived home from T's today. They are lovely. Shame tulips don't last long though - these are guaranteed for 5 days.

no delivery at mine either and it's huge. think this is a promo exercise and few will manage to buy them. store stuffed with masses of over-priced "garage forecourt" bunches of mixed flowers though. goodness they make mugs of some shoppers at this time of year.

Small Tescos near me marks down all their flowers to 10p each night around 9pm - I'll get myself some mothers day flowers from there from my cats, hee hee.

they're nice but unfortunately tulips don't really make a good cut flower as they tend to wilt and droop very quickly. They're nowhere near as robust as daffs are.

There were loads of them at my local Tesco today. Bought some for my mum. Lots of people were buying them. I looked at the more expensione bunches and didn't like any of them. They seemed withered, and the arrangement wasn't that good. I think the tulips look a lot nicer.
