All,
A see on Hargreaves that they state that Aberdeen are no longer accepting new business into this fund, but you can still fund it via a Vantage account.
Does anyone know any other ways I can fund this, or anything else that is similar?
Thanks

First State Global Emerging Markets is similarly run and similarly successful.
Fidelity have an EMEA fund that is interesting (and some commentators seem to think there's scope for good growth in Russia over the next few years)I am an IFA, but nothing I say on this forum constitutes financial advice. Always draw your own conclusions and always do your own research.0 -

Soft closures can take many forms and tends to come in stages.
One early soft closure method is to close it for new applications direct to fund house but leave it open via platforms. This will be all platforms and product providers (so would include mirror funds as well as the main fund).
Another method is to introduce an initial charge it bought direct and/or a minimum investment amount but again dont apply these to platforms.
The next stage tends to apply them to platforms.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only.
