I would presonally have no problem with it but its highly unlikely that anyone would want to pay me to spend anytime with me lol

I have no moral problem as escorts offer a service and it is there choice if they want to work in that line of work and it truelly is there choice. I am one of those people who think prostitution should be legalized and taxed to drive out the criminal element. it would also of course be much safer for the workers and the clients as regular health checks would be put in place.

I do however have a problem with people getting so desperate for money that they would let themselves become involved in this area becuase they cant see anyway out. Noone should be made to feel that is the only way out of debt. this is the 21st Century and we shouldnt have any type of slavery although of course on the whole we still do have.

I am not involved in anyway in the trade myself but have read quite a lot on the subject for a course I was doing on sociology. One intersting book I read was called Working: My Life as a Prositute by Delores French. I would highly recommend this book as an insight into the trade.

It was her choice and gave up a career in radio as she could earn so much more in a short amount of time and was able to retire and enjoy a lifestyle why still young enough to appreciate it.

I disagree, I was reading about how in (arghhhh now sounds like I am talking nosense as can't remember where it was, but it is true, I'll have a search) they now will take away your unemployment benefits if you refuse to take a job in, say, a brothel as it is within the law and so a job opportunity. One woman refused and therefore lost her benefits. Crazy, I know, but a situation which could easily arise?

Also, there are other issues about the whole paying for sex topic brings up morally, but I'll shut up as don't want to take the thread off topic!

From what I recall, I did see that Rene from 'How to Pay Off Your Mortgage' tell one of the couples that as long as the income generation was legal, it was OK by him. And as far as I know, escorting is legal although I'm not sure he would have featured it on BBC2. LOL
