How are you? Still above water I seeIm doing ok, just out of hospital following some rather nasty tests (the ones we 'spoke' about via pm-ed about that just after xmas) but apart from that Im good. Im planning on sorting my IVA out within the next month, Ive become rather lazy as my DMP is working so well. But hey everyone wants a break from all this every so often.
Take care

A close friend of mine worked as an escort to pay her way through a law degree.
She has no-hang ups, no regrets and no debts, so perhaps some food for thought there.
Several girls I know dance at a lap dancing club.
I've done dance classes - though not the lap dancing kind - since I was a little girl and have often considered turning my hand to doing it in clubs, as a podium rather than of the clothes-off variety.
Luckily or maybe unluckily my OH is quite old fashioned and it's not even an option.
I would think no less of anyone who chose to blitz their debts that way.[STRIKE]GRADUATE LOAN WITH HSBC -[STRIKE]£,5000[/STRIKE] fEB'07[/STRIKE][/STRIKE]JOINT CREDIT CARD WITH BF - £3,000, paying off at £200 pcmNEW BED - £200 0 per cent, paying off at £50 a month[[STRIKE]B]POWERGEN[/B] - outstanding bill £68, to settle March '07[/STRIKE][STRIKE]MY BELOVED MG - £1,500 AT 0 per cent, paying back at £100 pcm[/STRIKE]

As a serious reply to the thread though, I was asked to "dance" in a cage in a bikini when I was 18/19 (and had quite a good figure) for £80 per night:eek:
I refused firstly because I was unhappy with my body ~(I dunno why looking back now! ) and secondly because I couldn't stand the thought of old greasy men leering at me...Proud to be dealing with my debts :j

There is a fantastic book called 'Call me Elizabeth' a true story about a mom who became an escort in order to pay off her huge debts. A good read but i didnt agree with everything she did e.g continue to be an escort so she could put all her children through private education but thats just my opinion.

Would you consider writing about sexual favours to get out of debt?
I recently submitted a piece of fictional writing to an adult magazine from a link posted somewhere on this site. I wrote it ages ago and forgot about it, but this saturday I got a letter from them saying they are going to publish my piece this month and the cheque is in the post, and that they would like to see more from me in the future! Result."I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something."0
