Hi
I have loads of svchost.exe files running, is that normal ? or is something wrong?
Here's a screenshot of Windows Task Manager

This query is actually very similiar to a problem page question in the latest computeractive magazine (issue 235). To summarise:-
svchost.exe is an ESSENTIAL part of windows. The svchost process is used by programs when they need to access certain windows functions
It should not be confused with svhost.exe which is a virus.
Just checked my task manger and Ive got 6 running so looks like this is normal0
