Friend gets PPC ticket - Colchester G/H

Options
A friend got his first PPC ticket whilst parked at Colchester General Hospital in my car.
Car was on verge as no spaces available.
Sign less than 10 metres away proclaimed 'Public parking charges not issued here'.

Anyone see the funny side ?.

Having been previously told about how these things are unenforceable, they lobbed the ticket on the ground.

Am now looking forward to getting my free supply of animal bedding. Mind you, when they pay DVLA for the r/k details, they may put 2 and 2 together and realize I am the guy who started a stream of letters in the local rag explaining how not to pay these muppets, so may try to make an example of me. That I would look forward to.
Never Knowingly Understood.

Yes they very kindly send you loads of bedding for gerbils or rats , being rodent like themselves they must be gratified that the trees they have chopped down to send their junk mail is put to good use by one of their relatives .
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

Difficult to see how they could make an example of you if you weren't driving and have no obligation to say who was?

On the other hand you could make an example out of them by suing them for harassment.

Tell them you were not driving, are not prepared to say who was, and that therefore they are not to communicate with you further under any circumstances.

That's giving them the rope, then wait for them to tie it in a noose, put it round their necks, and kick away the stool......

It's a wonder that Greenpeace don't attack them for using so many trees:p
Mind you a traveller friend of mine said if he sees one of these PPC companies vans he will make a note of the reg and get a plate made up and go park somewhere where they have ANPR......see how they like it:rotfl:
A PPC is not just for Christmas...with a few CCJ threats you should have enough toilet paper to last well into the new year.....
