Zafira Badge and grille

Can anyone help??
In December I had my first ever accident in over 20 years driving! Unfortunatly it was in my two month old Zafira, first new car I've ever had!
I'm not looking for sympathy LOL (it was my fault!). but since the repair the front badge and silver coloured grille was fallen off twice! Its about to go back to the repairers again. Ive spoken to my insurance company who say they have paid for the repair and its between me and the repairer, who is very nice, but I dont want to go back a fourth time if it drops off again!! They are replacing the black plastic bracket as well this time.
Apart from glueing it myself - any suggestions? Or has anyone else had this problem.
Thanks so much for anyones help

The work should be guaranteed by the repairer, they should get the repair right. I would keep taking it back until they do, it cannot be a difficult job. You could mention to them that you will inform the insurance company that you are not satisfied with their work and this may effect future insurance work they get.

Thanks for the advice Peter, I will say that to them if it happens again. The insurance company was not interested. I am just getting fed up of going back about this problem and have no confidence that it will ever be settled. I wonder if they use inferior parts compared to the factory fitted grille?

Im 90% sure the zafira grill is the same as the astra, boy racers / car modders like astras so maybe a look on ebay for a used one will do the trick, the grills are only held on with 4 screws so not a hard job but really I would take it up with the insurance company if they have paid for a new one you should ahve a new one.
If it doesnt pay rent sell it.

The easiest thing to do (yes, your rights entitle you to go further than this but it might be easier to find an alternative solution) would be to source a Zafira grille from the scrapyard, with the silver V and badge already attached, and either have the insurance repairer fit the "new" (used) grille or fit it yourself.

I doubt very much that the repairer has used "inferior" parts - who other than Vauxhall would make a V-grille? - but they probably come as two separate part numbers and they're rubbish at joining the two parts. If you bought a secondhand part they would already be joined in all probability and so you'd get around that difficulty.

If they come out of the packaging as one single part - ask at the parts counter in your local dealership - then what I have just said doesn't apply.

Thanks - good suggestions. The repairer has been back to me and said they have three parts, black part and the badge and V clip onto the black part on order for me. I have looked carefully at the black bit and a couple of clips seem to be broken, so I am glad they are replacing it as well as the badge and V. Hopefully this will solve it.......?hmm?.
I never knew a new car could be such a pain. I had already posted about having the spare wheel stolen! I have also had to return to the dealership twice and have the back lamps replaced due to condensation!!
