I thought you had to use the vouchers along with your clubcard. Am I missing something?0

Because innocently asking a family member if they want to use your coupons,as you don't need them - can hardly be compared to collecting points to sell on for a profit.
Last night i was supposed to go to a football match. I gave my ticket to a family member, as i could not go. But i would not dare to sell it - as its illegal.
Also, you would hope that the buyer would at least say the vouchers belong to them, and realise it was not allowed - family members would. Some buyers probably just go up to the business concerned and say "can i use these please - i bought them on ebay".0 -

Why not? Both are against the T&Cs, both are breach of contract, neither are remotely criminal. They are exactly the same.Last night i was supposed to go to a football match. I gave my ticket to a family member, as i could not go. But i would not dare to sell it - as its illegal.
A football ticket (or Olympic ticket) where criminal legislation applies is completely different to Tesco vouchers where we are talking of civil breach of contract where no damages have occured.0 -
Similar things happened with "The Sun" Alton Towers tickets.
Sellers listed the vouchers, showing the barcode/numbers from the tickets. The buyer did not know they would not work until they entered them into the gate barrier.
Alton Towers had searched eBay, blocked the vouchers. Good for business, as those who were not allowed in probably went on to purchase full price tickets.
There was a thread on MSE from it.0 -
You can't put other peoples clubcard vouchers through your own account to change them into deals.
If selling on deals, you need to ask the buyer what they want them changing into, then once you have received them send them on. Or, change them into days out vouchers, meal vouchers etc and then sell them like that.0 -

I have put through family members vouchers on my own account to exchange them for Goldsmith vouchers. In fact, we had enough so that mine and my husbands wedding rings ended up costing us just £500 -

You wouldn't understand - as it requires some common sense.0 -

I have used other peoples clubcard vouchers without a problem AND converted them....I have also given the 4 quid off 40quid ones away and they have been used without a problem.
Think you can use them whatever as long as you have a clubcard. The Fields are Green, The sky is blue, the River Nene goes winding through, The market square is Cobblestoned, It shakes the old dears to their bones, A finer town you'll never see, A finer town they'll never be, Big city lights don't bother me, Northampton Town I'm proud to be!0 -

Were they at the same address? If its same address but different names, its not normally a problem. If its a different address, then although it seems to go through on the website, it will get caught by security and you usually won't receive anything and not know there is a problem until you ring up to see where they are. The odd one may ocassionally slip through, but in general its the different addresses that cause problems putting them through your account.0
