PPI letter

Hello, I can't be bothered to send letters to the company's and get all my loan agreements together.

Will they send me a letter so I can post back?

If you can't be bothered, just leave it.

ok, I might just do that. It took Egg 3 months to send my credit agreement and it had no info about insurance or if I agreed to it. These banks are useless. Why does it take so long to send a piece of paper? Don't have the patience to wait.

One of the reasons it takes so long is that there are simply millions of people complaining that their PPI was mis-sold and there are substantially fewer people to sort the complaints out. Therefore it's not the work of a moment.

I've been waiting over two years now since I made my complaint, in that time it's been rejected by my bank, referred to the FOS where a adjudicator found in my favour only for the bank to disagree and hence referred to the ombudsman of which it's still waiting to be picked up.

if you're at three months and you haven't even formally made the complaint yet then you may indeed not have the patience to wait and should probably give it up as a lost cause.

However if you're yet to make your complaint then it is likely to be sorted relatively quickly (a few months perhaps) since the outcome of the JR in the publics favour. Banks are contesting far less complaints now, so yours could probably be resolved a fair deal quicker than the likes of mine which is stuck waiting for an ombudsman to get through his mountain of referrals to get to it.

Also, a lot of these complaints go back to a period when documentary evidence wasnt filed with electronic filing systems but stuck in a box, unsorted and sent off to a warehouse never expecting to see daylight again. It is very time consuming and expensive to find old documents.

you could pay a company to claim for you and take up to 25% + vat of the money refunded as a success fee ... i'm sure they'll be bothered to claim.

or you could leave it and not claim at all .... the banks are not bothered.
