Credit Card Breach Of Contract

in Credit cards
Hi All
I have had numerous phone calls lately about getting credit card debt written off.
I was under the impression this ended in 2010?
The company in question which is listed on the justice website say that due to contract issues such as irresponsible limit raises, and unsigned contract changes we may get the balance written off.
Is this a scam or are there new grounds for complete write off??

Scam, same old scam - nothing has changed.
If you spent it pay it back that's all you need to know.0 -
Thanks, they're a persuasive bunch.
Giving all the right details and assurance suggesting the outcome will be a min 50% write off, but pushing the you've never re-signed when the contracts changed, the lenders increased the limit without checking your circumstances and without a request from you. Chances are as it's a pre 2007 agreement they won't have a copy. Etc etc0 -
Oh and they tell me they have an ongoing 86% write off success rate (100% write off)0
