I did OK in Oxford today. I got fringe clips, hair elastic band thingys, brown eye shadow, maybelline foundation, loads of Mua nail varnish and lint papers all for 10p, earrings for 49p and eye make up remover (own brand) for 59p. It was not so easy to find the right place but I did so. Also a recipe book that actually looks like it has the kind of food I like to eat in it. (For slimmers.) Oh and a completely dry mascara lol. That is now in the bin. I also got a white eye pencil and am wondering what you do with it!

I saw but did not buy children's sun cream. Various other bits of make up. Probably the best stuff was gone.

I noticed shower gels etc for less than £1 but did not want to carry them today. (So go there not the £ shop for that!)

NO gift sets though or anything like that and I think that most other stuff has probably gone. The guy on the till did say people had been asking about the sale all day thanks to reading this site.

Kinda nice as then I went to Oxford market as it was closing and got a lot of stuff cheap there.

I don't understand this. What's going on? Incompetence, false publicity, deterring bargain hunters by wearing them out?

I had a good trawl through Wandsworth Southside shopping centre branch today and found a grand total of nothing! Lots and lots of special offers (3 for 2, etc) but none of the bargains found elsewhere.

I went into the one in Birmingham Bullring at 10.00 am and they were just pricing up the stock :j

I picked up 10 pink Max Factor make up bags with lip gloss, nail varnish and a few other bits @ 10p each, which I thought would be nice for party bags for my niece as she's having a makeover party with a few friends (courtesy of Groupon voucher). I had a little chat to the sales assistant and said I'll leave some for other people, only to find in the queue for the till that the greedy woman a couple of people behind me had cleared the shelves of the rest of the stock, so there's none left for anyone else.:mad:

Also picked up some heart shaped mirrors @ 10p, 4 pack of razor blades @ 10 p, 2 boxes of bath fizzers @ 10 p and 2 make up bags with some make up @ 49p.

I checked out all the other stores in Birmingham but there were only the usual mark down stuff, so maybe they'll put them out over the next couple of days.

Epsom today had a few bits... a lot of old tat that I wouldn't pay 1p for(!) battered old make up etc. Quite a few bits for £1.99 but did manage to bag a few bath sets for 10p. Own brand (spa?) fizzy bath discs. Wouldn't pay much more for them but the packaging looks nice for gifts!

Just in case you're thinking of using these for gifts, I opened up one of the make up bags and there was a voucher for £3 off purchases made by June 2009, so check them first and take them out

I did a bit of calling round on the phone to superdrugs. Spoke to three store managers and none had a clue about this sale...

Nothing in my store yesterday either, the staff were unfriendly and unhelpful was told i shouldn't believe all i read!!
