A quality kitchen window extractor - err where?

I have a smallish kitchen and am looking for a decent quality powerful extractor fan to go in the window.

I have been looking at B&Q and Wicks but they seem to do very average quality ones from the looks of it and I need something powerful to be able to get rid of the smell of the cooking (which currently spreads in the whole house).

I would appreciate if one of you guys could point me to some good websites or make / models of decent known window extractor fans I could buy ?

Many thanks

You could try Screwfix (same group as B&Q):

or more robust/expensive commercial extractor fans:

IMHO I'd do my best to get proper 'cooker' extractor with a filter. Relying on a window fan is fine until it gets gummed up with grease - it's not pleasant and it will eventually cause problems - I fitted a 9 inch wall extracor for my father-in-law and within 6 months it was gummed up! But then he does like pan frying everything!!!!!

Thanks for your replies. Already have a cooker extractor but that doesn't do the job and the shape of my kitchen makes it very difficult to put a door in.

The Noise levels on the most powerful one is 60dBA. I have no idea how loud that is..put another way is that likely to be louder than a cooker extractor noise when put on full power?

    Thank you
