Sources for finding manufacturer in China

Hi, i currently have a fledgling business and want to find a manufacturer for a product I have developed. I want to get it manufactured in China, and am trying to find any info on how to achieve this. Does anyone know of any web resources that provide guidance or list reputable manufacturers - so far 'Sourcit' seems like a go-between but i am struggling to find other info. I do not speak Chinese, am in discussions with a uk manufacturer who is high on price, and am a sole trader who is finding the whole process of bringing a product to market nerveracking.

Try your local chamber of commerce - they should be able to provide some assistance. They will certainly have contacts overseas with other chambers of commerce.

You could try googling "Natural Heating" at Bunns Bank, Attleborough. I know they do it successfully for themselves and may be able to point you in the right direction.
