Bought wrong format ebook

Stupidly I bought 2 books from I tunes, thinking they were audio books, for my ipod nano - I have a kindle, and was wondering if I could put them on to that. Apparently they are DRM locked, and calibre doesn't appear to be able to convert them, although I have not used calibre before.


I am a techie beginner, so please would appreciate no smart a comments. I already know I've made a mistake, & really don't want it compounding.:o told you I was a beginner, I meant to make this comment smaller :rotfl: :T

From other threads on here, there are plug-ins for Calibre that will cope with the DRM and convert them for use on the Kindle.

A quick search should give you info you need.

I'd think easiest thing would be to try and get your money back.

can't you get in contact with the seller via iTunes and try and get a refund? then buy the kindle version if it's there...

It was an actual download from itunes. Calibre doesn't seem to be able to convert - can't find a widget - or at least not something that I can understand. I'll just have to put it down to experience, and wait until I either win an iPhone, or iPad (cos there's no way I'm buying one lol)
