hi, i wonder if anyone can hep me,ive managed to get hold of my last mortgage acc number,
the trouble is i had a mortgage broker sort out my mortgage, and apparently he was the one that sorted everything including any ppi i had,
now ive got the mans name and address and phone nmber, rang the number but apparently the person who replied has that number for the last 2 yr,so not the guy im looking for,
so where do i go from here?,is it a dead end, and cant go any further,regards julie

    Which is quite normal and part of the reason why there are so fewer mortgage PPI complaints.

    Regulation and consumer protection under the FSCS came in 2005. When did you buy the mortgage PPI?

    What are your reasons for complaint and what evidence do you have to support them? (remember that PPI is largely a bank issue and not a broker issue. Whilst complaining against banks is relatively easy as they seem to be giiving in now, a broker is more likely to support their advice through their evidence (factfind, needs analysis, suitability report etc). So, you typically need a technical failing as a complaint reason and not a wishy washy unprovable verbal allegation.
