What supplier of road marking paint do you recommend for improving an area and making prices rocket? I'm originally from Sunderland which got city status waaay back in 92? I think... didn't seem to impact house prices back then. Would probably be worth looking at some of the created cities between now and then for any indications from history really but I certainly was old enough to recall it all happening and definitely don't recall any "wow our house is now worth X" type conversations.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0

Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -
Chelmsford has already been voted the happiest town and one of the warmest so I think that city status would be less of a priority to me.0
