Tesco at present have an end of isle sale,everything 10p,they have blue and red cat litter trays which make perfect deep seed trays,all you need to do is drill a few drainage holes.

Or leave them with no holes and use them as gravel trays .. for small plant pots not cats!!.. so much easier to water into the trays.

Seedlings stay so much healthier when the water is taken up rather than letting their necks get wet and cold by top watering.

they are selling drill bits for 10p to do that job aswell
