in Credit cards
Hi everyone , this question maybe in the wrong section of the forums ,but i did not know which to put in and this section seemed more suitable as its a credit card i need help with.
my mum passed away ,leaving some money owed ,im her only son so i am the authorised administrator, ive payed off all of her lenders ,but one credit card a marks&spencer one with a balance of £750. they are requesting full payment from the estate, but there is no more money available. what do i do next? im out of work and dont have the money to pay it back myself, thats if im responsible for paying it off with my own money, which im not sure if this is allowed. can anyone advise me what to do next. Andrew

good morning,im sorry you are going through this at such a sad time,
someone who can help you will be along very soon.
im pretty sure that if there is no more money in your mums estate the c/card people have to write it off.
i hope things get better for you soon,

If there are not sufficient funds in the estate to pay all the monies owed in full, you pay proportionally: after the funeral expenses have been deducted, everyone gets paid equally, let's say. 25% or 50%.
It appears, you have paid some in full and you want others (M&S) not to receive anything at all. Understandably, they don't like that.0
